FAQ
What should I do if your chart does not
load?
If by some reason our charts are not working, check
our Troubleshooting section in
Chart Help. If you are still having
problems with our charts and you cannot find an answer in our Troubleshooting
section, send us an email with a detailed description of your problem,
including your browser version and operating system.
You have so many features; how can I use
all of them?
Check out the Legend in our
Chart Help section. There
you will find a description of each JavaVolume® charting feature and how to
use it. If you find that any of the descriptions in the legend is not
clear, please feel free to email us for more information.
When I zoom out the volume moving average disappears.
Whenever you zoom from one period to the next
(e.g. from 1-day to 5 days), the data changes. This means that instead of
1-minutee bars, or ticks, you are viewing 5-minute bars. A volume moving
average (VMA) of 5-minutes cannot be seen on a chart with 5-minute ticks;
therefore you would need to change the VMA setting to a higher value.
Another example would be if you had a 30-minute VMA and then zoomed to 30
days; the VMA will disappear because you cannot have a 30-minute VMA on a
chart with 30-minute bars. For more information on VMA settings, please
check out the Volume MA
Settings section under Chart
Help.
